Rana is a Canada-based artist whose work explores everyday life through observation and experimentation with different materials. His practice includes watercolor painting, sketchbook drawings, wood and clay work, as well as oil and acrylic painting.
Much of Rana's work begins with simple acts of noticing—people in the city, objects from daily life, scenes from nature, and moments encountered while traveling. His sketchbooks play a central role in this process, capturing quick impressions that often grow into more developed works.
Rana's artwork has been exhibited in different countries. One of his works was selected for a year-long exhibition in 2024 at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. He teach art as well.
Working across multiple mediums allows Rana to explore texture, form, and color in different ways, while keeping the same core idea at the center of his practice: that creativity can grow from ordinary moments when we pause long enough to observe them.
